Resource Center Assistant – On Ramp
Job Objective: The Relatives On Ramp Resource Center is looking for a Resource Center Assistant to provide support to the On Ramp and Housing programs. This position is a great opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience with youth and young adults in crisis. Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field is strongly preferred. B.A. or B.S. preferably in a related human services field is preferred. Six months experience in behavioral healthcare is preferred. Required competencies include: age specific competency for children and adolescents, competency in the administration of medications, working with mental health population through utilization of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and Love & Logic.
Transition Coordinator – On Ramp
Job Objective: Responsible for operating the On Ramp Resource Center, and conducting all aspects of aftercare services. Serves as a point of contact for program participants and community. Conducts intake assessments and required paperwork. Bachelor’s degree in a related human service field required. Two years experience in human service field, working with transition age youth is preferred.
Housing Program Case Manager – On Ramp
Job Objective: The Housing Program Case Manager provides a variety of office and field activities to manage and monitor a rapid re-housing/transition-in-place program for young adults. Performs direct client services ,complies with related documentation and implements the RENEW Model with housing clients. Work involves providing supportive services to promote participants self-sufficiency, integration into the community, and permanency in housing, performing administrative tasks involved in the review and maintenance of a caseload of program participants. The principal duties are performed both in a general office environment and in the field and community where program participants reside. Bachelor’s degree in a related human service field preferred, but not required. 2 years’ experience in human service field, working with transition age youth is strongly preferred.
Part-Time Program Mentor – Journey Place
Job Objective: Responsible for coordinating appropriate intervention services for young men who have aged out of foster care ages 18-21 at our Journey Place Transitional Living Home. Responsible for maintaining the residence and clients in a clean and safe environment. Assist young men utilizing skill building activities that are within five transition domains: education, employment, health and safety, community life functioning, and safe and stable living situation/housing. This is a part-time, weekend position. Shifts will be Friday-Sunday, 5PM to 10PM.
Crisis Counselor – Youth Crisis Center
Job Objective: Responsible for offering appropriate intervention services for at-risk youth ages 7-17 at our Youth Crisis Center; facilitates individual, group and family conferences and provides appropriate referrals to residents and families as needed; responsible for maintaining the residence and clients in a clean and safe environment. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services for Crisis Counselor; for Awakenight, Overnight and weekend an Associate’s Degree in Human Services is acceptable or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer 6 months of related experience. Experience with population preferred. The Youth Crisis Center operates 24/7, 365. Part-time and PRN positions available. 2nd, 3rd, and weekend availability strongly preferred. Must be able to attend a two week orientation.
Intake Specialist (Third Shift) – Youth Crisis Center
Job Objective: Responsible for offering appropriate intervention services; conducts all intakes, walk-ins, family conferences, and discharges. Thoroughly communicates with all team members the progress of each case; listens to and takes into account the progress reports/notes of each client from the Enrichment Coordinators; completes chart corrections; engages with clients to observe and assess their needs while at the Crisis Center. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services for all Crisis Center Staff; for awake night, overnight and weekend an Associate’s Degree in Human Services is acceptable or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer 6 months of related experience. This is a full-time, 3rd shift position. Hours are 11pm to 7am, Sunday-Thursday. Must be able to attend a two week orientation.
