Transition Specialist – On Ramp
Job Objective: The person in this role will coordinate the services for young adults aging out of foster care in transition. This may include working with various agencies, providers, faith based organizations, and individual partnerships. They will develop, implement, and manage the individualized plans for young adults ages 16-24. They will help to ensure young adults are provided with the tools, support, and resources necessary to become self sufficient. B.A./B.S. in a related human service field required. Experience working with individuals in the mental health population required. Experience working with youth in transition required.
Resource Center Assistant – On Ramp
Job Objective: The Relatives On Ramp Resource Center is looking for a Resource Center Assistant to provide support to the On Ramp and Housing programs. This position is a great opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience with youth and young adults in crisis. Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field is strongly preferred. B.A. or B.S. preferably in a related human services field is preferred. Six months experience in behavioral healthcare is preferred. Required competencies include: age specific competency for children and adolescents, competency in the administration of medications, working with mental health population through utilization of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and Love & Logic.
Transition Coordinator – On Ramp
Job Objective: Responsible for operating the On Ramp Resource Center, and conducting all aspects of aftercare services. Serves as a point of contact for program participants and community. Conducts intake assessments and required paperwork. Bachelor’s degree in a related human service field required. Two years experience in human service field, working with transition age youth is preferred.
Crisis Counselor – Youth Crisis Center
Job Objective: Responsible for offering appropriate intervention services for at-risk youth ages 7-17 at our Youth Crisis Center; facilitates individual, group and family conferences and provides appropriate referrals to residents and families as needed; responsible for maintaining the residence and clients in a clean and safe environment. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services for Crisis Counselor; for Awakenight, Overnight and weekend an Associate’s Degree in Human Services is acceptable or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer 6 months of related experience. Experience with population preferred. The Youth Crisis Center operates 24/7, 365. Part-time and PRN positions available. 2nd, 3rd, and weekend availability strongly preferred. Must be able to attend a two week orientation.
